Ian Parry Photojournalism Grant / Legacy of War Foundation

The Ian Parry Photojournalism Grant supports young and emerging photographers as they embark on their career in the world of photojournalism. They offer financial support, mentorship and ongoing assistance for the promotion of their work. The grant was established in honour of photojournalist Ian Parry, who died while on assignment for The Sunday Times during the Romanian revolution in 1989. The recipient will receive £10,000 towards their chosen project, loan of Canon equipment, publication of images by The Guardian, eligibility for Hamburg portfolio review and VII Mentorship programme, one year-long personal mentorship with Giles Duley, and other benefits.
